Our Team
Zia Drone Operations is comprised of a group of dedicated professionals.
Wes Bond,
Owner and founder of Zia Drone Operations.
Education in digital and 35MM (black and white film) photography, geographical information science (GIS) and media production, Part 107 licensed drone pilot/operator.
Mark Knight,
Avid photographer since middle school.
Free Lance photographer in Alaska for World Ice Art Championship, Iditarod dog sled race and wedding photographer.
Began real estate photography in late 2019.
Education the GIS program and Digital Photography.

Josh Bishop
Professional multimedia designer and photographer. Over 10 years experience in media productions. Licensed drone pilot, digital media arts and design and sUAS graduate.
All of our pilots have many hours of drone operation and field experience, hours of lab and software time and are currently working side by side with many companies and groups already with in our community.

Zia Drone Operations has highly qualified Part 107 licensed pilots with Geographical Information Science ( GIS ) and media education. Our mission is to provide the best quality services in a timely manner. Here at Zia Drone Operations ( ZDO ) we provide real-estate photography, video walk-throughs, standard & aerial photography, and videography landscape, extreme sports, real-estate, and much more. Other services include 3D photogrammetry, 3D environmental mapping, inspections, crop and plant life data gathering for agriculture.

Mapping flights follows our recommended survey overlap of at least 70% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5mph (8kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for RAW+JPG mode, and a maximum 10mph (16kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for JPG only mode.
